I picked these up to flesh out an order to get the free shipping price break. The photo in the catalog listing actually does a fairly good job of representing the color of the green but presents the yellow as more brownish. In-person, the yellow is more vibrant, with elements of gold. From a color combination, I definitely like them. The green blend has a pearlescent appearance that is noticeable in person and only hinted at in the photo. They feel great in the hand. They have a reassuring sound as you roll them around in your hand before tossing them on the table. All of these elements give them a solid 5-star rating. One of the dice has a small issue with the painting for the number 4, otherwise, the set is consistently paint-filled for all numbers. I ran the dice through my calipers to measure their shape, and here is where I ding them 1 star. They are very, very close to perfect in shapes ... but, there are some micro-millimeter differences across the set. Since these are not sharp edged polyhedral dice, this irregularity can be expected due to their polishing process to improve luster and eliminate the sprue burr. Personally, I feel these dice would still look excellent if they omitted the polishing step - but, then I'd likely have to ink/paint the numbers myself, or pay higher prices for that to be performed by a human instead of their mass production method of dipping the entire collection in paint and the polishing processing removing the surface excess and leaving the numbers filled. Due to their overall size, I don't feel this discrepancy (and I do mean less than a millimeter difference) should be sufficient to dissuade you from enjoying them in your gaming sessions or to unduly influence the outcome of your rolls. I do recommend these dice, and if I were in the market for additional sets of mini-polyhedral, I would look to Metallic Dice Games (MDG) in the future. Additionally, my experience at Pippd as a first-time customer was stellar, and I would not hesitate to shop with these people in the future for additional dice needs. In honesty and transparency, I was incentivized to actually take the time to leave a review, but, the thoughts and comments in this review are my sincere opinion.
