When viewed from the side they appear as 4 layers, but when viewed from the top or bottom they appear to be 2 entirely different dice, as one color eclipses the other, with numbers that seem to float above each colored surface! View them from an angle, and suddenly they look like they're only 3-layers! Nothing tops the ingenuity of Eclipse Dice! Each die has the high and low numbers centered on the two clear halves for high-speed number recognition.
